Thanks Ron....had a female but lost her to regurgitation syndrome...

She would puke if the termp went above or below 82 degrees...some bloodlines are VERY hard to keep alive....this guy will eat and digest at any temps...well as long as they are not above 86....never picked up another female and the male is growing slooooowwwwwww....he's has to be at least 5 years old....

Wow I didnt know this. Thanks for the info. I know the janis are prone to it and have to be fed smaller meals because of the regurge thing....

Their exactly like that bro....plus some are super sensitive to any temps above 80-82....this one I got very lucky...got him from Don Hamper....don't know if he was the actual breeder though....I think so....that's why you don't see a lot of Cape's...as beautiful as they are MANY have trouble keepin them going....

That would be perfect with a hot spot of 80/82...they would thrive for you bro....

Also the nice ones cost more but are well worth it...

I had a pair of janis a couple years back and they were doing great. Had to give them up though due to some family issues going on at the time. I wish I still had those jokers..... Who has some good bloodlines these days on the capes?

I looooove these. I almost bought a pair at an expo. They were some of the most colorful snakes there!
