Well I didnt go out and face the masses to get this but I did have to go pick it up during the madness. My wife finally gave me thumbs up to get the TV I have been wanting. 40" Samsung LCD HDTV with a 5.1 surround sound home theater package. Got it all for $1250.
Dont mid the crappy stand. My wife ordered another one but this one will have to do until then....

Very nice. I desperately need a new TV myself. But mine is so old that a new one would need a different entertainment system. Then I gotta hook everything back up. And it probably wont be combatible with my other ancient garbage so then I need more new stuff and ahhhhhhh you get the idea.

Yes V I understand completely. Which is why I talked the wifey into the package instead of just the TV. We replaced an ancient 500 lb 37" tube TV. Talk about a wraslin match!!! I am so looking forward to football today!!!!!!

Sounds like one hell of a gift. I stood in line at Best buy all Thursday night to get the laptop im on now. Damn it feels so good to have a computer again.
