Cool. Ill mark that on my calender.

Thanks for the heads up!

What did you think about Brock over Randy? Personally I wasnt all that surprised. I understand Randy has way more experience and Im a fan of his. I know he downplays the age thing but there is just no denying that time wears a fighter down. Brock may be inexperienced by the guy is an animal. Big, strong and athletic.

Plus I think with Brock as champ it opens the doors for some interesting matches. I really dont think hes gonna hold it long but Im intrigued about who he will fight next.

I wasnt surprised but I was disappointed. I think right now the only person that can beat him is someone like Mir or Nog that has some serious sub skills. That is where Lesnars game still lacks big time. It takes time to learn sub skills and defense, I know this first hand. When a guy is 275 pounds and is throwing punches at you with hands the size of "lunch boxes" it makes it hard to get out of the way. All he had to do was graze Randy with that right and it was over. Im not real excited about the heavyweight division right now but the rest of the UFC makes up for it. Some amazing matches coming up like GSP vs. Penn 2 and maybe GSP vs. Anderson Silva in the near future. Those will be amazing fights to watch. Even the end of the year card with Silva vs. Rampage 3 should be really good. Its also exciting that other organizations are folding and the UFC will be picking up some new talent. Cant wait for this next year.

I met B.J Penn this past summer in Newport Beach. He is a close friend of one of student's fathers. He is TINY, quiet, and not at all intimidating in street clothes:nono:. Total opposite of GSP, who is has a SHOCKING at first glance in his conditioning. With that being said -- I pick Penn to win the fight. Dude is a WITCH in the octagon!!!! :master: Killer jujitsu. Great style match-up. Penn will submit him I think.

Thats one of the reasons this fight could be one of the best fights ever. If they both show up ready and focused it will be amazing. Lets hope they do. Im going to pick GSP even thought I love both of them. I think he is to strong for Penn, better conditioning and better striking. I do however think that if Penn wins it will be via submission. I cant freakin wait for this fight.

There is also WEC 37 on Wednesday (Dec. 3rd) on the Versus Network. Looking forward to it, too! Main event is Miguel Torres vs. Manny Tapia, I think Miguel Torres should win this one. If you haven't seen Miguel Torres vs. Yoshiro Maeda (WEC 34) I recommend that you do.

Great night of fights, I was surprised how entertaining it was. Brutal KO by Josh Koscheck, cringe-worthy armbar from Steve Cantwell. For those that don't keep up with the prelims, earlier in the night Corey Hill apparently broke his leg, although a lot of PBP sites are still just calling it a "leg injury." I've read conflicting reports on what happened, not sure if Corey was throwing the kick or was checking it. The video will probably be posted on the internet sooner than later.

Just watched the video this morning, and yep, that leg is broken. The video is up on UFC.com right now if you want to watch, but as a warning it is disturbing. Corey throws a leg kick and Dale Hartt checks it, the leg snaps and then Corey tries to stand on it and falls.

Yea this card was really brutal. Broken leg, broken arm, head contusion(sp?) that looked like another person growing off his head. I think the way Steve Cantwell was acting after breaking that guys arm was pitiful. That is part of the reason people think this is "human **** fighting". It was disrespectful and shameful imo. Here is the link to the pic of Corey's leg break. Its bad so if your squeamish dont look. I hope he heals fast and makes a comeback. That is a shame to see an injury that serious but it happens.
