I'll be breeding a couple of my males this season to 10 or more females. Just wondering how people are in the same boat.

I only have 1.1 going this year. After a sabatical from BPs , we're finally putting projects together again.

i've got: 1x1 two of those , 1x2 or 3, and 1x5 or 6.
i'd will be interesting to see how it all goes.
we'll keep each other posted.

The most I have is 1.4. It's either going to be my lesser if he gets off his ass or my blk pastel male.. Good luck Larry and definately keep us posted on how it goes..

I have never hit a male to 10 girls but I have come close before. Dont know if I would try a young male on all of that but that is just me.....

If I had that many girls, I might give it a try. Will be very interested to know the fertility ratio of those 10 girls.

Just try to keep Mike in check, EP knows I have to mess with him when I can...he doesn't always give me the opportunity to do it. :rockon:

By the way I can't get one of my pastels to lock up with any of the girls, so he is either gay or just a quick shooter...I only have 4 girls lined up for him but the other one may have to take over his 4 if I don't see any lockups soon. That would be 8 for that one....I don't want to overwork them, maybe just spread those girls around a bit and call those mystery clutches if I get anything from them.

Larry If I had those hot males like that Queen and Lav. I'd be giving them all the girls they want.:lol:
This year I'm trying a 2 month rotation instead of monthly one. Will see if I can squeeze in a few more poss het girls to my Pieds. Good luck

Sorry to drudge up an old thread, but I'm curious Larry how many copulations are you looking to hit each female with? I had one male going through 3 girls and he was hitting it pretty hard, no pun intended. :lol: I ended up getting 18 copulations out of him to those 3. I've read that McCurley likes to get at least 6 cops to each female which is what I was kind of shooting for.

for accounting purposes, the male i put to five girls has one with eggs on the ground, one about to lay, one in pre-lay shed, one that i don't think will go, and one that's got me on the fence.
