We were looking around our yard today and came across a couple herps, mostly Lined Snakes but we also found a Many Lined Skink and a Western Terrestrial Garter.
Heres a picture of our yard where we find most of them, we live on 5 Acres so we lay wood around and check them occasionally. :cheers:

Thats a pretty good question actually :dunno:, we left him be so that he'd finish, he looked like he was gonna drop it at one point before we got a pic lol

Man I was out for about 3 hours this morning and all I found was frogs....jealous....great finds!

Glad everyone enjoys the shots, we happened to run across the same garter still hanging in the same place today which was actually a mouses nest which had 5 babies in it only a few days ago :eek: Then while we were working around the outside of the facility getting ready for our Outdoor Cuban Rock Iguana enclosure we saw a Plains Garter darting under some junk lol, couldn't get to him fast enough though :mad:
