A few weaks ago a guy posted an add in the classified section. There was a bp I liked and made him an offer. At first it was too low, but eventualy he took the deal(I thought). We message back and forth and last week i ask how she is doing and he replies fine. A few days ago he wanted to know if I was still interested, so I reply yes and wanted to scedual a shipping date and how to pay. A few days pass buy and they he finaly replys that he sold her last week!:eek: He didn't even tell me that someone else was interested. You don't just sell a snake to someone else when a sale is pending. I wont name any names just that he has an account here. Talking about customer service.:machinegun:

When you say that you thought that you had a deal, was it actually stated as such? I only ask because I've had people say that they were going to buy an animal that they liked "when they could afford it, maybe a few months" and my reply is okay, if it's still around. Then they've actually gotten mad when it sells before they have the money! So I am NOT assuming that this is the case here, just a point to make sure that it was clear...

If your not going to name the person then this thread is pointless.... whole point of the watchdog section is to focus on ads posted in an attempt to prevent the bad transaction from ever occurring and provide some sort of "watch out" for this person type of info. Also to expose scams, false advertising, market crashing - all of which are focused around adverts.

You've posted nothing to back your story, no advert, no screen shot, no emails.... no name of who the person was.... no one has a clue what your talking about because no one knows anything about the deal....

The deal took this long because he thought she might be gravid so he wanted to see if she would eat to make sure

I asked him a few times how I would pay for her but he kind of jumped around the subject

I didn't want it to show me as a name slinger and just wanted to express my anger. I realize that you made a point about the story and I understand I must do so in this section.

He goes by Chenzo. He was basicaly selling his whole collection on BLBC Classifieds. I wanted to buy a female het peid, and at the end of the classified it says prices are negotiable. I threw a price out there to haggle with him a little. We email back and forth, we agree on a price, and he just wanted to make sure she wasn't gravid through a few feedings. I sent an email to see if I could pay through paypal and schedule a shipping date. He returns with: sorry I sold her last week to someone esle. It just got me made because the least he could do is say someone else is interested.

If you didn't have a deposit on her, she wasn't technically yours for a deal to be broken. :dunno: Maybe he got a better offer and took it. Sucks, but some people are like that.

I don't consider any animal to be "sold" until money has exchanged hands. No deposit = no sale......

Sounds like you were willing and tried to make a payment. Not everyone has good customer service.
