ReptileMan27 12-04-2008, 01:18 AM I would assume probly many here already know about this but I just saw it and was amazed. I still think the norms are best as with all snakes IMO but this is pretty crazy..

stwomey 12-04-2008, 02:03 AM I've seen that awhile ago. I believe there are really only hets on the market right now and those don't come cheap at all.
Eric Burke 12-04-2008, 02:41 AM ya they look pretty awesome.
JOHNS6068 12-04-2008, 03:06 AM I've seen that awhile ago. I believe there are really only hets on the market right now and those don't come cheap at all.
Yeah not cheap at all from what I saw listed for hets. They are cool looking and I wouldn't mine one myself.
norsmis 12-04-2008, 06:21 AM Now that is badass! Those are wild looking snakes!!!!!!
JChandler 12-04-2008, 06:28 AM 19K for hets, that would be a killer project.

xanaxez 12-04-2008, 12:20 PM They are nice and i am a carpet lover but i would not spend that much money on one lol. and if i am not mistaken that is an albino produced by a couple of darwin carpet pythons, and from what i have read although they arent many in the states they're beginning to be mass produced in aussie and canada at the moment.

Gator 12-04-2008, 02:57 PM I don't know, man. I like albinos and I LOVE carpets, but the two aren't mixing for me...just an opinion
constrictorkeeper 12-04-2008, 03:03 PM i think it's way cool...

it's too bad they are all mutts, they aren't even pure Darwin locality carpets...
BTW, Craig didn't even produce those, they were hatched in Germany and sent to him... He's a co-owner of the adults.
They are being massed produced in EUROPE at the moment and the price will plummet this year, you watch..
The real albinos are the real nice ....
Cheers
Rob
stwomey 12-04-2008, 08:28 PM It is nice to see carpets starting to have morphs out there now. I wouldn't mind having a granite or two. For some reason the albino's just don't hit that cord with me where I would like to have one.
Varanus99 12-04-2008, 08:40 PM I hadnt seen this yet.
Its interesting. Always cool to see new stuff popping up.
Im on the fence. While its exciting to see an albino of anything for the first time these dont really make me go WOW! Its nice and all, just not striking a cord. Maybe Im just weird.
Like the albino iguanas. Cool to see but IMHO not the most attractive animal in the world. I dont think everything looks good as an albino. Albino water monitor? Hot stuff. Albino nile? Ugly as sin. Again just my opinion.
Larry 12-04-2008, 08:45 PM They are really awesome. I'd love to snag a pair of hets but 19k...nah I'll wait it out a little..

You'll get Homozygous Albinos for the same price later this year...
Stole these pics from a buddy.....
Enjoy...

JChandler 12-04-2008, 09:16 PM Mutt or no mutt I think they are hot!
stwomey 12-04-2008, 09:16 PM Those babies are stunners. But like I said before, the adults are just not hitting the right chords.
I would be very nervous to have one of those in my collection.......
I love the albino carpets, although I too would like to see pure albinos before crosses.
I've heard that in person, they have a lavander coloration in the white areas.
earthpig23 12-05-2008, 06:53 PM yeah still have to agree with Jeff mutt or not thats a hot looking carpet
grunt_11b2007 12-05-2008, 07:57 PM Is their any that aren't crosses?? I agree those are sweet as hell!!
Alan
ScrubyScrubyDoo 12-06-2008, 10:13 AM The pictures i posted are pure Darwin Albinos....
However, most of the ones being produced now are all crosses, mainly with IJ's and Jags....
Sad thing, there aren't very many homo darwins that are het albino so the majority of the ones produced will be pure albino Darwins, or mutt hets....
Rob
