I FINALLY found him a partner. I should receive it possibly next week, depending on the heat. Looking good!

I know what you mean. I have to make room for:

1.1 Butter Corns
1.1 Black Rats
0.1 Thayeri
0.1 Meansi
0.1 Adult Jasper Co Lgg

and my holdbacks:
1.1 F3 Lgg
1.0 Patternless Meansi
1.1 Hybino Fla x Chains

I am parting ways with some of my adult corns to make room for these.

Between that one and the other one I see you picked up for a mating pair, they should produce some very SMOKIN offspring later on!!!

I have been shopping around for another female for my yellow male. I found the nice orange female and thought the project was complete. Well, until tonight, she had not eaten for me. I got her back in July. I bought her out of the egg, supposedly, but I now have my own opinion as to how that played out. Anyway, once she gets done eating, I will get a photo to post. I tried a live, day old pink, scented with a worm snake from the freezer. At least now I have a starting point. And I had given up on her.

So she ate the pinky scented with wormsnake? I have some Thayeri/Ruthvens and they have given me more trouble to eat than any snake I have ever owned! They are very beautiful so I guess they are worth the trouble. I got most of them by either split braining pinks, or tease feeding. I still have one that is over a year old who will only eat if I split the pinks brain! I got 3 new babies this year....oh what fun.

She did. I tried a f/t pink 2 nights ago, scented with the same worm snake piece, but no luck. I caught me an anole today to use for future scenting purposes. I am using the wotm snake on the w/c mole king until I get it switched.

Good to see that it finally ate! I have hatched out Thayeri in the past and found that the "bitch slap" technique works pretty well on non-feeders. You hold the snake in one hand (just behind the head) and take a warmed f/t pink and "bitch slap" the snake across it's head. More often than not, they will open their mouth and then you can stuff the pink in, very gently set the snake down, and hope it continues to swallow the pink. You might have to repeat this process several times before the snake gets the idea and EATS the pink instead of spitting it out. Something to try if the scenting thing doesn't continue to work.
