I'm trying to work it out to be there somehow, but I'm not sure. If I am not there, The Turtle Crossing will have a bunch of leos of mine for sale for me, and there should be about 3,000 fliers running around for my show in January. If I am there, I'll be handing out fliers, so if you see me, make sure to say hi!

I may or may not go... Trying to work out some trade deals on my het pieds and het albino female... we will see though...

Well I'm not 100% sure if I'm going (lol) There is a few things I want look at. But I have that freaking nasty crowd image and finding a parking spot issue stuck in my head from the last 5 times of going. If I can get past that I'll probably go.

I'm considering going. I'm not too sure I want to drive all the way out there, though, especially since it's snowing here like a mofo today, and I hate driving in crappy weather. AND I really hate such large crowds. It's not that I'm claustrophobic or anything, it's just that most people annoy the crap out of me, and then when you get a whole slew of them in a room, it's just exponentially worse. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for all the people that refuse to move down the line so you can see everything too, or those people that push their way through you to get in front of you or the ones that sit there talking to the vendor like they are planning on buying something, but really have no intention on doing any such thing.

Yeah, I think I just talked myself out of going. Someone post up some pics of the neat stuff there, please.

There are usually a few vendors that stop at the Western PA show which is the day after on their way home, so I will catch that one instead :)

From the very southeastern corner of Pa. I can practically spit on MD and Delaware I'm that much in the corner =)

I only went once when I lived in DC. We sold out but the crowd was overwhelming..... Dont think I would go back to that one as a spectator.....

LOL Jknudson!! When I saw this topic thats exactly what I thought..!! I wish it wasn't so far for me.. I just don't know about driving 12 or 13 hours just to get thrown in jail you know??!! Well if anyone does do it be sure to get video.. I would love to see that..

At one of the Hamburg shows this past summer, a friend (Craig Hill) and I were standing handing out fliers for the Oct CPRE show, and who comes up right next to us but the infamous "Nick and crew"...Craig being who he is went RIGHT up to him and started talking. Now, if you read any of the BOI threads about Nick, you will know that Craig and him have NO love loss at all, and I told him he was banned from my shows. So Craig walked up to him with one of my fliers, introduced himself, talked to him for a bit, and then told him to remember what show he could NOT come to.
Big surprise...Nick is ALL talk, and looked afraid of Craig. Craig is no tiny guy, but Nick overshadows him by a LONG shot. I laughed the whole time when he looked at me and threw my show flyer down on the table...
Sorry, had to share my experience for those of you MuffDaddy lovers. LOL

I was there from 10am until about 2 and didn't see our buddy there. Than again, I was concentrating on talking to vendors about the January show, so he could have been there.
All in all I thought the show was ok. Saw a lot of vendors I hadn't seen before, and the crowd was ok, not great. Quite a few vendors told me they hadn't seen a worse December show in about 10 years. Most people seemed to be there to look and not buy. There were some GREAT animals there though, the vendors really stepped up with the quality they brought along. And of course, I had fun drooling over some of the INCREDIBLE leopard geckos, and just talking to everyone. It was HOT in there though, and I don't know how the vendors under the heaters got by. Some of them were even taking shifts at the tables to go outside int he 30 degree weather just to cool off!!
Who else was there? What did you guys think?

I didn't go. The weather was way too crappy here to drive that far.
