My girlfriend is not a reptile person, bless her heart. But she tolerates my insanity and tries her best to be a part of it.

She knew I was getting some new monitors today. She sent me an email from work and this was a part of it:

"I hope that you were motivated this morning and got everything that you needed to get done for the arrival of the new Lizardtropolis members. I know that you're sooo excited to see them. It's almost like when a girl gets a NEW pair of shoes and she can't wait to take them out and show them off! I know that you will take good care of them and that they will love it here. Oh well....Have fun today, I hope that you upload a nice pic of the new house members for all those on 'BUSH LEAGUE' they will be sad and disappointed if you don't."


See that? See that?? She is DOWN with the BLBC! And making sure I upload pics cuz she knows this site is full of picture lovin' mofos. She even capitalized it. Thats my girl, right there. Im so proud of her! Dieheard!

I'll tell ya. I am NOT a snake person and only got into reptiles at the age of 54. By hanging with all of you I have been able to hold a couple of snakes. A real milestone for me. I used to have the worst nightmares about them. The kind that don't let you go back to sleep. Even after I shook out the covers and looked under the bed. I'm not yet ready to own one but I don't have the dreams anymore. There is hope for her. She sounds like a keeper.

When I first started with snakes, my wife was deathly afraid of them - to the point of getting physically ill at a picture in a book.

She ultimately embraced my fascination and has completely overcome her fear.
She now enjoys handling them.

There is hope.

guess I lost.... I decided I could either waist my money on the wrong ones... or get more snakes.... I should be picking up 6 more snakes either the end of this month... for first of next month.
