Basically they sold a unhatched egg (common practice for this company) and oversold the clutch. The buyer requested a refund and per their original TOS he was in his right. Then the seller changed their TOS and told the seller the only way they could get a refund is to receive the dragon and ship it back to them then they would issue a refund minus the price of shipping.
How sad :dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno:

It was also brought up that they doctor the pics of their animals. I almost bought some of there stock a year or so ago, but I got a bad vibe when trying to get info on the animals I was interested in. Glad that I went with my gut.

I clicked on the link and read the first post of the thread. He states:
"In doing research here, I have come across many negative reviews of this breeder. My experience is similar to the others."
In my opinion, this means:
1. He did research, found negative reviews, and disregarded.
or
2. He did no research, got burned, then realized he had done business with a less than honest person.
The BOI can be a good resource, but the number of people who come to it last rather than first has made it borderline unreadable for me.

I think he was going for 'After I got burned and did research here...'

Well the seller decided that they are refunding the buyers money (minus a percentage for paypal fees). Basically this looks like the only reason the seller refused a refund was due to not having the money available at the time. Boy it would have been easier just to have said that and been done with it. :cheers:

Well, if they are refunding through paypal the fees will be reversed, so there isn't really a reason to not do a full refund.

The money was sent more than 60 days ago and apparently Paypal will not refund their paypal fees after the 60 day mark (that is what the seller told the buyer anyway)
Then it's on the seller cuz they screwed around with it for too long!
