So I paired up my animals this week and thought I would share my pairings with you guys.

#1-Diamond/Coastals

Female-Angel

These guys come from Will Birds Tri-Stripe Intergrade line. They don't show the trait, but breeding them together should produce some stripes. So far, they seem to disinterested in each other, so we will see what happens.

#2-Irian Jayas

Male-Cocodrie

Female-Mahler

The dam female Mahler, is not mine, but is on breeding loan so I posted a link to pics of her. She is owned by Luke at Morelia in Wonderland. Cocodrie is from Spitfire Reptiles. So far this week I have seen 3 or 4 lock ups between them so hopefully we will see some little IJs this spring.

Cheers!

good luck dave, i also have a couple from will and i love them. one is mia under my tub right now but the other is resting nicely in the cage getting biiger. im not sure if it is the male or female that is loose though because both look identical lol. if its the male in the cage then he is probably ready to breed but if its the female im not sure because i dont know how big she should be before attemtping so im just letting it eat lol. and advice on the size or age they should be ready?

Thanks everyone!

if its the male in the cage then he is probably ready to breed but if its the female im not sure because i dont know how big she should be before...?

It varies by subspecies, and I don't know which one you have. Here is a list of breedable female weights:

Irian Jayas-1,800
Jungles-2,000 (not sure about that one)
Coastals-2,000+

Hope those pairings work out to some big clutches. The parents look good and will throw some beautiful babies.
