Thanks BallPythons9 08-02-2010, 11:57 AM I've just left them in the same container until they shed out and then I put them into their own tubs in the rack. smilin-buddha 08-02-2010, 12:04 PM Just use perlite for the substrate. Thinking it might be a cleaner thing. To have them in a paper towel sub box. Jaymz 08-02-2010, 12:20 PM I just leave him in the original incubation box until they completely come out of the egg. As they come out I move them to a box with paper towel, after they shed I put them in individual tubs. Art In Scales 08-05-2010, 09:47 AM We move our to a new shoebox with damp paper towels, but we incubate in a 32 qt box with several other clutches in the box and I don't want the new babies to upset the other eggs. smilin-buddha 08-05-2010, 09:57 AM After cutting the babies look dead. I have one that looks like it might make it. It is still int he egg But even that is not a sure thing. Now I just have to figure out what happened JenH 08-05-2010, 10:03 AM I move them to paper towels when I cut. I've been reusing the incubation medium and don't want and fluids from the eggs mixing with it. I also use the plastic light grid and it is a little rough on the babies belliesl. I hope they make it!! smilin-buddha 08-06-2010, 01:12 PM Sadly they are all dead. :dunno: This has been a shit year Art In Scales 08-07-2010, 01:18 AM Sorry to hear that. Do you have any idea what happened? What day were you on when you cut them? JChandler 08-07-2010, 07:34 AM Damn man that is rough, sorry to hear it... smilin-buddha 08-07-2010, 07:44 AM Weird in a way I had been thinking of changing my collection and cutting back. This might be the reason to do it. My woma eggs all went bad and now the balls. Maybe it is time for a new type of collection. Stream lined to just the basics. PavlovK1025 08-07-2010, 08:38 AM Sucks man, sorry to hear it. SNSnakes 08-07-2010, 11:35 AM What day did you cut them????????? BPs will look dead to the world if you cut them too early, and then, magically, they "wake up" and come alive (sometimes). As a rule, I DO NOT cut eggs! They have been hatching out for the last 20 million years with no help from humans, so I leave mine alone. The ONLY time I cut is if the eggs are WAY past due...like day 67 for BP eggs. Tama 08-07-2010, 08:54 PM Sorry to hear that. smilin-buddha 08-08-2010, 06:17 AM Cut them on days 53. T. Pecanic 08-12-2010, 01:27 PM Bum deal.. |
