Wow, where to start. I guess the first place would be HELLO! I’ve heard so many WONDERFUL things about all of you. Thank you all for your support and your words of encouragement to join. I intend to claim my ‘BRIBES’ from V for joining, though I would have joined without the ‘BRIBES’.

I swear that when V and I started seeing each other I didn’t see myself EVER being interested in Reptiles let alone being apart of a REPTILE FORUM, yet here we are. I’ve learned so much from him and I continue to learn daily. He has such a VAST knowledge of what he is doing and such a PASSION that just OOOOZES from him.

The new members of LIZARDTROPOLIS are settling in great! They are beautiful! I can't believe that they just DUG IN once they got here. We have a BIG fondness for HEALTHY EATERS! I think that he is going to do GREAT things with them and can’t wait to see what the OUT COME will be in the next year.

It’s funny how much I know b/c of conversations with V or from the Lizards that he has and how he cares for them. It shocks me! I always used to be a cat/dog girl but here I am apart of a wonderful collection of reptiles. I can’t say that I LOVE every minute of it, but I do enjoy spending the time with V when he is tending to the lizards.

Funny though, I didnt know they were hets and an albino popped out. I was like COOOOOL!!!! He was really neat lookin' too. Then somehow, the sneaky little SOB got out of his tub. His partner is still in there. I tore the house apart looking for him but to no avail. So Im assuming since hes been gone since may and he was only about 2 weeks old when he got out hes KIA. I dont think he could have survived this long on nothing but a few escapee crickets.

Sucks though. He was my favorite. Was gonna keep him.

Ive lived alone for a while so Ive gotten better through pure survival. When I lived with my ex I caught a lot of crap. Id get juice but it wasnt the RIGHT juice. Hey, it had a picture of an orange on it. Looked good to me as Im blazing through the aisles knocking over old ladies.

More than once I came home with something and said to myself "Ok, why did I buy this?". Most recently was smoked oysters in a can. Oof that was some nasty stuff.

Oh oh oh another thing! My mother starts with me on this too. I dont give a frogs fat butt of something is ON SALE! If its garbage Im not gonna buy it! There are certain brands I am used to! Im gonna spend the extra nickel and get Heinz ketchup instead of Lucky Eddie's Homestyle Ketchup made in someone's basement up the road. I want my Coca-cola. I cant drink that generic stuff. I cant!! If something is on sale that I want ok fine. But Im not gonna buy a jumbo whatever just because its cheap! Im not saving any money if Im not gonna eat it!!!!

When I lived home my mother (bless her heart) used to torture me with generic stuff. She did find some amazing deals though and still does. Our family debate is between Hellman's REAL Mayo and Miracle Whip Sandwich spread. Jeff at first told me we didn't NEED both, I told him then we'd only have Hellman's in the house. He quickly recanted and said having both would be just fine with him. So when we make BLTs it is made two ways so we are both happy.
