I went to Costa Rica in the beggining of August to help tag and measure sea turtles. It was a priceless, amazing experience, and I can't wait to do more projects like this. My group of 3 people broke the record of most turtles tagged in one 4 hour shift with 12 sea turtles! Here's hoping for a long herpetological career!

That would be a lot of fun and something you will remember for a lifetime.

Yes, It was so much fun! But it was a crazy amount of work too. Walking a good 5-10 miles a day looking for turtles or counting turtle tracks. Its a large island, and the only motorized vehiceles are some boats and 3 ATVs owned by the power company. We did a lot of walking. :lmao:
I love breeding snakes as much as the next guy, but I really want to get involved with the more scientific herpetological side of things, so I'm sure this is just going to be the start of many more similar trips.
