BallPythons9 08-23-2010, 12:21 PM Took these pics at the San Antonio Zoo yesterday, the komodo dragons were awesome! They have two adults along with this younger one.

Sorry, I couldn't find any. For the young dragons it was a large cube maybe 8-10 feet on each side with trees, logs, branches, plants, leaf litter, and a water feature. As well as heat lamps. The adult komodo(s?) is housed in a very large outdoor/indoor enclosure.

Being outside of Washington, DC, I've had the opportunity to see and photograph the National Zoo's Kamodo Dragons for many years. I think DC was one of the first stateside zoos to breed them.
Did anyone see the report out that they use venom to kill their pray and not the intrenched belief that bacteria is the culprit?
