This is a drawing I did way back in 1995 that took MANY hours to do by regular computer mouse.
Also, just below it is another one I did about the same time of a snapping turtle.
I don't think I would have the patience to do this type of thing again, especially with a regular mouse that is very difficult to control. They were both a real pain in the arse to draw..LOL!

Yes, it was a definite strain on my eyes AND head with the constant zooming in and out doing alot of close up work pixel by pixel as well..LOL!

I love the little fish on the second too!
Waaaay more than I could do... My boyfriends 13 yr old daughter has a thing for creating things like this on the computer... none of them this good yet but I'll certainly show this off to her!

LOL!!,..thanks Beth!, I'm glad you like those. Yes, those little unsuspecting minnows were fun to add in the pic there.
I modeled the pic after watching a little snapping turtle I had in a tank by my computer, and he would move very slowly and stalk the minnows just like that. The little dude would freeze when the minnows stopped to scope-out ther surroundings and deem it safe again, then when they started moving again, the turtle would continue to creep up on them so they wouldn't notice he was even that much closer..LOL!..........then..........BAM!!! he'd have one!..LOL!
Very clever little technique for sure. Snakes do this same tchnique too with rodents.
Nature is just awesome!!
