All 4 eggs from the second clutch hatched, making 10 for 10 on the year for the 3-stripes. Below is a photo with the lasted clutch and the first one to show how much the first set of hatchlings have grown in a month.
So after this photo I moved the 6 from the first clutch into a 30 gallon tank with a basking ramp, floating plants and a UV basking lamp overhead and then I put the new set of hatchlings in the hang on guppy breeding tank. I will keep them in that for a month or so, just because that way they get heated filtered water, but a small space where when I feed them the food is right in front of there face with out any current to fight untill they get there sea legs fully developed. It was funny to watch the first hatchlings explore there new relatively huge tank, they would crawl around on the bottom and then when they needed air they would wind up those tiny little legs and paddle super fast to get up to the surface. Then they would float on the surface for awhile, then paddle down, but they would float right back up, it took them a bit to figure out they needed to belch out a little air to keep from floating. I was thinking "ahhh you have much to learn grasshoppers"
