Can someone give me the run down on egg laying behavior in beardies. Lily is running all over the place digging.....behind the nest box, in the corners, under the lamp, in the food bowl, etc.....how long before I can expect her to go? She has been doing this a few days now....

I am assuming she is a bit lumpy???
Keep putting her in the lay box so sh know where it is.
I would say within the next couple weeks.

She look a bit lumpy, but I do not "feel" anything when I hold her. She has gone in and out of the box, but seems to prefer digging behind the box, between it and the wall....
I find that they pick the spot that they want, and I don't argue with them. I just watch them closely so that if they decide that they want to lay between the box and the wall, or wherever, that I can pull the eggs quickly.

Going off food (though not all do this) is a big sign of being prepared to lay. Also, passing BMs more frequently, frantic behavior, and digging are good indicators of being ready to lay.
Personally I no longer use the lay box in the tank method due to having lost an entire clutch once when my female decided that she wanted to dig in her "in tank laybox" come out and lay her eggs on her basking site (i was at work so when I got home they were cooked). You should also be able to visually note a change in where her weight is being carried because when they are ready to lay the "egg bulge" will typically shift much closer to her vent.
