JChandler 09-08-2010, 06:55 AM Man I just looked up the spreads, I thought there was only going to be one close game but it looks like they are picking 9 games at 3 points or under...could be alot of upsets this weekend and a chance to make a few bucks if of course I was in Vegas where that is legal to do...
Dan W 09-08-2010, 07:39 AM Yeah. There are going to be some great games to watch. I particularly like the Bengal/Patriot matchup. That should be good. I wonder how Ocho Cinco and TO will be with each other.
Dan
JoshJP7 09-08-2010, 07:47 AM TO is their #1 receiver whether or not he or ocho cinco want to admitt it. TO is still a dominant receiver regardless of all his jibber jabber and drama that comes with him. If he could figure out how to catch the easy balls he drops atleast a couple times each game he'd be the best receiver in the game. Seems he manages to catch those crazy over the shoulder 50 yard bombs but the 7 yard slant always ends up on the turf.
This is my first weekend with the ticket so you can only guess where I'll be spending my Sunday... even though my Saint kick off the season tomorrow night... Who Dat? Repeat Dat!
Brandonfb75 09-08-2010, 10:43 AM It should be a good weekend! I think T.O. and Chad will last a few games. Then the egos will step in. There isnt enough balls to go around for them. I am really looking forward to the viking/saints game. I like Farve but I hope the saints beat the crap out him!

You don't really believe this do you? :lmao: I agree with Brandon... not enough catches for those egos to go around. It will be funny to watch the Bengals crumble. I see the Ravens being on top of the AFC North, especially with the addition of TJ.
Saltydog88 09-08-2010, 02:40 PM TO will be on a different team next year. As good as he is, teams can't deal with his ego and theatrics. How many teams has he been with in the last 5 years?
Saltydog88 09-08-2010, 03:56 PM I like this

I do believe that! He is a monster and puts up 10+ touchdowns every year. He may have a lot of baggage and drama but the man can catch a football... well... most of the time haha. In a system where a #1 receiver is needed he can be the man if he's getting the touches. Now would he fit in with an offense like the Saints? Hell no b/c they have 10 receivers catching balls each game... ya know... the team mentality on winning:cheers:
Dan W 09-08-2010, 04:29 PM Who here would like to have Carson Palmers job? Hopefully the receivers won't complain about not getting thrown to more often.
Dan
Saltydog88 09-08-2010, 04:34 PM TO has to meet certain goals to get his $333,000 bonus. He will start crying for the ball when he is falling short of this achievement.

Exactly!!
I think the team to watch is going to be Baltimore. They already have the defense and the offense is looking good. Two things I want this season. 1. The Raiders not to look as stupid as they have the last 8 yrs. 2. For Revis to have the worst season in NFL history. One good yr and everybody thinks he is the best corner in the league. Sorry to rain on his parade but he is only the 2nd best if that!
Brandonfb75 09-09-2010, 01:56 PM Football time is almost here!! Lets go Saints!
phunkyone808 09-13-2010, 01:52 PM Lions got robbed
SNSnakes 09-13-2010, 02:49 PM Lions got robbed
You ain't kidding! That was a bogus call! Cripes, the receiver had the ball, two feet down, body down, rolled, ball touching the ground STILL IN HIS GRIP, THEN he lets go when he gets up. Totally bogus!
amreptiles 09-14-2010, 06:38 AM How bout them CHIEFS!!!
JoshJP7 09-14-2010, 06:41 AM Jets, Chargers, Cowboys and Colts have all been preseason picks for Super Bowl champs but all are starting out 0-1 ... no ones even spoke a word about the Saint repeating or how the Patriots are still a force to be recon with!
Holbeird 09-14-2010, 01:19 PM Was disappointed by the panthers performance but it wasn't totally unexpected. The Giants looked good though, their Defense was nice and Manning seems to be getting better and better.
SNSnakes 09-14-2010, 01:39 PM How bout them CHIEFS!!!
Very interesting! So, I suppose I'm going to have to take them seriously now...:dunno:

At least they have a few bright spots this year!
They may go 7 and 9...and that just might win the AFC west :lmao:
