Here's the definition of Bush-league "inferior or amateurish; mediocre: a bush-league theatrical performance. " Like in baseball you have the major leagues and then you have the "bush-league" of guys just starting out who hope to maybe one day make it to the big time. A lot of sports have smaller, semi-pro leagues. In our hobby we have the big time pro breeders like NERD, Pro Exotics, Ralph Davis and then we have the smaller breeders or Bush League if you will. Thats us :). And we like it! Its self depreciating humor. Not taking yourself too seriously. Having fun with the hobby and maybe someday moving up to the big game. I also like to use it to describe anything that is somewhat goofy or amateurish that Im doing in the hobby. For example if I was using duct tape to hold a snake cage closed...thats Bush.
