Yup, neat bugs. I've seen a couple in the past month. I think the one with the camera fetish probably sees his reflection in the lens.

They are neat little things! My older daughter has a pair she wants to breed, but is trying to figure out if there's a way to do it without the female killing the male, I guess. She likes him better cuz he's so quick to "box" with her, haha!

I have kept mantids years ago. Those bring back fond memories. They are great insects.
