Got a pond in my back yard and a couple more across the street. Some decent bass, for yankee fish, in them. Full moon was this past week and always good fishing then. Not exactly a Walleye, but here it is.

The gills aren't too bad in the pond either. All the fish are catch and release. In small ponds like these, it wouldn't take much to fsh them out.

That's great!! I lived by a small lake some years back that anything you caught in it was more than legal size. Hell, the pike fed on golden shiners that were big enough to make a meal out of. Sadly they restricted that place to catch and release I believe. The year I left there it was gettin' fished awful hard. :(

Another one from the full moon period a few days ago. Best fishing is always a couple of days before and after a full moon, with the night of the full moon being the best. Even all my snakes are most active on the full moon and even the the slow eaters go wild on full moons. I think I even have that full moon crazed look in this pic.

Thanks. Used small 3 to 4 inch live gills hooked through the lips with a wide bend hook. The main forage in most ponds are gills and the bass love them. Throw them out and work them slowly back to you.
