I just checked my normal male Sand Boas cage today and he wasn't in it!! :( Somewhere between the Sunday and today he had to have escaped..though I have no idea HOW. I cleaned out his cage, and than I know I set him back in it. I may have not closed the lid all the way.. That is the only I could think that he could've escaped. I checked my bedroom, and the place he went last time but he isn't there.

*sigh*

This is just incredibly weird.. I put a mouse out tonight on and his cage on the heat pad thinking that might lure him out of wherever he is hiding.. The problem is that near his cage there is a spot where he could possibly get into the wall. The phone line plate was loose and I am fearing the worst..

I FOUND HIM!!!! YAY! I looked and looked again and there he was crawling inside my fan (not on) that was lying on the floor. The lid on his cage is a piece of crap. I'll need to fix it. Until than he's in a different cage.

LOL, I'm glad things went well. It's always sttressful losing a snake in the house.

Yes, it was very stressful. The good thing is that I don't give up looking for something when I've lost it. I just keep looking until it drives me crazy or I'm too tired. I just knew I would find him though.

Strange thing is that last night or in the morning my friend was on her way to her new place and she also lost her snake. She than e-mailed me about 5 hours later saying she found him. We seem to have things happen at the same time. It's so odd.

I lose a lot of sleep when something gets loose around here too. The wife won't sleep until it's found and caged up :lmao:

Ha. My sister would have a fit if it happened at her place. He's tiny though and can't do any harm to anyone, but I still wouldn't be able to sleep knowing he was NOT in his cage.

This snake drives me nuts though. I will need to swap his caging pretty soon. Tanks are horrible. It's just not working for him.
