besides going locally to Marc Bailey, I like the vacuum sealed rodents at Big Cheese Rodents and the Mouse Factory.

I started with Big Cheese and switched to Rodentpro for a while and went back to Big Cheese. Never received freezer burnt animals or feeders broken in two like I did from RP and like Kare said all of BG feeders are vacuum sealed. Plus they've always been very helpful and friendly on the phone, big plus with me.

Yup, Steve, the broken pieces made the decision to not use them. Trying to feed a single head to a picky BP is not happening. Thank goodness Scott has kingsnakes. :lmao: Plus Rodent pro doesn't use appropriate sized boxes, so I'd get charged huge shipping fees for my shipment.

MiceDirect.com - provides irradiated Rodents, - they are clean & safe. Rats have been on hold in order to build up colonies, but will be ready in about a week.

Well, few things we have learned since being involved with MD. Rodent Pro buys lab surplus to resale, and BC has been known to sell sick animals to other facilities (their name did come up in the FDA thing). Nothing bad about American Rodent, but if you are not in their free shipping zone, they are pretty high.

So you're the reason why he was a little short on rats this time!:p
