Teyla is a local WC that I rescued last year. She is completely unlike the other WC's I have from this area.

Well, I hope to eventually breed her to a caramel to see what happens, but this year it will be an amel. She has some red on her tongue, so it will be interesting. I have 3 local WC. The first two look just like that first pic. Teyla is in a class all on her own.

That is why your boy caught my eye! Finally another WC that looks like her. I was beginning to think she was a reall odd ball

Yeah my boy has too. He is calmer than most of my captive hatched to boot! I can pick him up even in deep blue and he never flinches....

This girl was a sweetheart from day one. I got a phone call to come "get a snake". When I got there, they had her in a 10 gallon bucket, with a pien of plywood on top, and a cinderblock on top of that!! I didn't know what was in there, so I cautiously lifted the board and there she was. I reach in and proceded to educate the people about here. She was so sweet, not trying to get away or strike. The people were actually very shocked that she wasn't all "aggressive". It was a great learning experience for them, and I got a great animal in the process. She has eaten f/t from day one, and is up to medium rats!:)

When I got my boy he had been in captivity for about 6 months. He does eat f/t but you have to dance it for him... lol... he does miss and has gotten me on occasion but once he realizes I am notthe mouse he lets go.
