I personally am not breeding any bloods this year, heck probably not next year either, but who on the BLBC IS going to be producing this year? Post em up!

I (well - not really me - but my female Borneo) will be producing some normal Borneos...She usually ovulates in Feb. and lays in April...Always fun peeling her big ass off a beehive...:rockon:

Last years clutch...The clutches seem to grow by about 4 or 5 eggs each year...She gave me 31 last year so maybe 35 - 36 this year...

Thanks Tama...I'm really not sure...I've seen people post pics of clutches ranging from a dozen to 40 +...I've heard the record Borneo clutch being 60 +...Don't know if there's any truth behind it but that's what I heard...

Holy heck...a 60 egg clutch would be insane...especially w/ all those little chainsaws hatching at the same time...I'd say time to bump up rat production :lol:

I dread peeling her off every year but honestly - She's no worse than a BP...A lot of hissing, huffing and puffing but no biting - Thanks God...She's actually pretty calm when you take her eggs...

im not gonna have any bloods this year but im trying to have some by next year

We'll probably be breeding some of our black bloods next year. They probably could have gone this year, but I'd prefer to get a little more weight on them.
