I worked out a local trade deal this weekend. I was trading 2 uros for a speckled hognose, check thread in hognose section, the guy said that he was going to throw in a black racer as well. I didnt really want a racer, but it was something that i hadnt worked with so I thought that I would give it a try. Well he said that it may be something else but wasnt sure, So as he is pulling it out of the snake bag I can tell instantly that it is not a racer. Much to my pleasure it turns out to be a very nice MBK. Reakky cool animal. I love the jet black. I have never had any MBKs. They are just beautiful animals. Cant believe that I have been missing out on them for so long. I will be adding a couple more to my collection very shortly.

Wow!,..yeah, I'd much rather have that nigrita type Black "Racer" any day of the week over a genuine article Black Racer..LOL!

I just got done posting on another forum to a guy who just acquired a cornsnake and was told it was an Eastern milk by the guy he got it from that has owned it for almost two years..LOL!

It never ceases to totally AMAZE me how horribly bad some people are about knowing what they actually have. I continually see this on a daily basis in this hobby. :lmao:

You made out REAL WELL on that deal! , I wouldn't give 2 cents for a Black Racer, but the MBK is a totally different story! :cheers:

He said he got it from one of his clients about two years ago. Her son was going off to college and it had to go so he took it. They told him it was a racer.:dunno: He had his doubts but still went with the racer label.

The best part is the guy just threw it in the deal. I was happy with just the hognose. So I made out like a bandit in this deal.
