Thanks. Though, I'm pretty sure these aren't what you think...

These are about 5" or so total length as adults.

Thanks much Tama. I just try to keep what I like working with.

Indeed I do Mike...I've got 5 or 6 other Anolis species here.

Those two are both nice choices. I actually had a pair of A. bartschi reserved, but swamped out for something I have now. I know where to get both, so when you're ready, give me a call ;).

Your right I didn't mean the same ones you had pictured (lol) But how are they different from the usual ones you see??? I really don't know much about them just curious always open to learning new things on other reptiles =)

Nice, like that second one the best. How close are they to the Bahamian anoles?

will do, we'll have to wait a month or so until I recover from christmas spending and next semesters tuition though. other than the typical petshop greens and whatever we keep getting that they label as bahamans, I've always though anoles were really underrated.
might be looking for another male S. petri small form too. I love those little guys I got and want more, lol.

Well, the easiest answer is simply, they're different species (lol). The "normal" green ones you see often are usually A. carolinesis (http://www.saumfinger.de/acarolinensispics/1carolinensis_paarung.jpg). There are several morphological differences as well, namely the absence of lateral striping, size difference, degree of dimorphism between the respective sexes, etc. If you can read German or have a translator, check out this site www.saumfinger.de

Thanks. But how "close are they to the Bahamian anoles [Anolis sagrei]" in what respect? size? geographic location? I think A. sagrei are a bit larger and while the anoles I posted are from Puerto Rico, A. sagrei are present in Florida, Belize, Cuba and a few other places...
