I'm a senior at the University of South Carolina and we played Bama this weekend and we freaking beat them!!! I know bamasmith here is a Tide fan and I've got to give his team props, I still think they're the best team in the nation, but it was our day. 35-21...we had a freshman running back, Marcus Lattimore, out rush Ingram & T-Rich combined and Alshon Jeffrey had about 130 yds & 2 tds that included 2 absolutely incredible catches. I'm still on an adrenaline high.


We have also beaten a #1 ranked team in all 3 major men's sports this year.

Bama in Football

A well deserved congrats to the gamecocks. It was quite an accomplishment to beat bama. I am going to have to catch some South Carolina games.

Over a week late,but yeah.The Gamecocks really put it to 'Bama.I still can't believe they lost to Kentucky this past weekend though.The emotional up's and down's of college football is unreal.It's hard to retain that level of energy each week.Alabama has lost their "mojo".Everyone,starting with South Carolina has a bye week before playing Alabama.That is an extreme disadvantage.I think 'Bama is exhausted,and I also think they will lose another game....It hurts to say this,but I have to give props to Auburn.They have an unbelievable QB in Cam Newton.That guy is a playmaker and is fun to watch...I am now going to throw up due to admitting this...

Can't believe you all beat them, bug congrats. You're just a little below me as I live in Charlotte but I just can't bring myself to cheer for a team with your name....call me immature, I just can't do it. Congrats on the win though, any given Sunday I guess. This Sunday you were the better team.
