I understand those are below industry standards but cant see why people are suprised? All of those morphs have been around for years and people are breeding them to normal females just increasing the supply but the demand for single gene animals is declining. If someone buys a pinstripe male for say $400 and gets 4 pinstripes he can sell for $150 he just made his investment back in 1 year and turned a profit. If you can get them out the door fast and still make some money why wouldnt you? I understand you can make more money selling them at a higher rate but you also may have to hold on to them longer... if not forever.

People always say "dont breed em if you cant take care of em"... we all know that everyone is planning on selling all their single gene morphs. No one breeds a bumble bee to a mojave with the plans on keeping the pastel. They want the tripple gene morph and if it doesnt happen they just dont hold anything back. Everyone and their brother jumped into the BP market with the plans on making money... now the only snakes worth the big cake are 3-4 gene morphs... the rest of the stuff has just flooded the market.

Not saying what this guy is doing isnt hurting the industry I just see where he's coming from.

Because of the other thread that is now locked on Reptiles Canada about the big sale that people went to buy from this guy, i now have about 4 or 5 more people i will never buy from or sell to.

I guess he couldn't sell his sick and mite infested breeder females for $1000 so he dropped them to $900.

I heard through the grapevine that he owed some money to other breeders and when they showed up he told them not to take animals from certain bins because they we sick or dying!!!! And the wet ones were just sprayed with Nix.
