View Full Version : Any ideas on what this is??
rstymtlhd 10-16-2010, 05:59 PM Here is another animal that i cannot figure out what it is. Hopefully someone here has an idea. the only pics i have found that even closely resemble it is like a Paintball or Super Paintball, but im just not sure. Maybe some weird patterned Pastel X Granite?Maybe even a Mojave X Granite? Any input would be helpful.http://i764.photobucket.com/albums/xx281/rstymtlhd/IMG_20101016_115344.jpg

joe23 10-17-2010, 12:37 AM never seen before. but im sure its not a paintball or super paint ball. granite something i think. but granites mojos look a bit different. from the blushings i would say its something mojo or pastel granity too, but somehow i dont think its that.
where did u fund this picture or animal?
rstymtlhd 10-17-2010, 07:34 PM it is 1 of 2 like this in my small collection of animals. but the male is currently having some health issues,( swelling near the cloaca), and is under treatment. Hopefully he will recover shortly as breeding season is coming up fast. since no one seems to know what it is i guess i will try and breed the male if he recovers and see if its a dominant/or co-dom trait and go from there...it would be really sweet if this was some new morph coloration. i doubt it.....but ya never know....lol
Oh, i did not hatch these so parents are unknown, they were just part of a group i aquiered.
Breed it and see if it is genetic!!
No idea what it is but its a neat project!
Holbeird 10-17-2010, 11:41 PM not sure but it is a great looking animal.
Dave Harms 10-18-2010, 07:28 PM No clue, but man it is neat looking!
MichiganExotics 10-20-2010, 01:12 AM same here not a clue
joe23 10-20-2010, 05:29 AM i hope u can prove em out. theyre really outstanding and just my style. i think they got some great potential- espacially cause there 2 of em. thats increases the chances of being genetic i guess...
Matt S. 10-20-2010, 08:20 AM Idk what it it is but it's g6
chago11 10-24-2010, 02:05 AM super granite mojo is my guess
bammer838 10-27-2010, 05:47 AM i dunno, but I do know that is is hoooot!!
joe23 10-30-2010, 07:27 PM i found something. i think the pattern match but the color dont. just look urself and tell me what u think
http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/autunm-gloss/
the stripe, the flames, the granity thing, the blushings- everything is there. just the color doesnt match up, but maybe its like fire and gets lighter with age- or we have pics which go in wrong directions- i mean ur pic shows the animal much lighter than in reality and the other pic shows the animal way to dark. i dunno
Mutation Creation 11-13-2010, 08:02 AM Sort of looks like my Mojave Spotnose. Also granite! Hmmmmm???
How is your male doing? This would be a fun dinker project to work on.
TraceyS 11-13-2010, 11:30 AM Beautiful!!! LOVE the almost solid back striping!
Azo Reptiles 11-13-2010, 09:23 PM Very nice. I have seen a few similar in a bunch of CH babies. Breed it and see what happens. Dink projects are always fun.
Oddball Exotics 11-14-2010, 11:31 AM I have a female that is very similiar. The only similar animal I could find is on "Urban Pythons" collection page. They call it an eclipse.I have contacted them looking for more info on what they have proved out with their girl.My girl lacks the extreme granite appearence of yours, but all other traits are the same.I will let you know what i hear.I am running my girl to a yellow belly male, and have had a few good locks so far!Hope to produce a male from this pairing and run him back......see if there is anything genetic.
rstymtlhd 11-17-2010, 09:08 PM Unfortunately the male did not survive, started to get better ( or so it seemed) and then was dead. Female is doing well and eating great but it will be at least next year before she is up to size. I have a male Mojo, and a male granite so we will see what she is in a couple seasons. Have afew other crazy Dinker projects as well, but we'll keep them under wraps for now...lol
J-N. Turcotte 11-21-2010, 04:30 PM I think the camera color is a bit off, but seems like a mojavish stuff to me.
