Just a few thoughts about the upcoming heavyweight events.

So this saturday Cain Velasquez is fighting Brock Lesnar for the heavyweight championship, Im taking Brock by a mile.
I just dont see Cain having what it takes ecspecially after Carwin couldnt finish him (Brock)
(Although in all technicality that fight could have been called in carwins favor 3 times in the first round)

On to an email I got yesterday about the Jan 1 2011 UFC Event. Shane Carwin vs Roy Nelson WTF . What a joke Nelson has NO Chance in that fight. I guess they have to have Carwin get a win before he can fight Brock in a rematch for the title, which I will take Carwin victorious in that one.

As for upcoming main events here are my picks

Lesnar vs Velasquez - Lesnar
Marquardt vs Okami - Marquardt
Rampage vs Machida - Rampage
St Pierre vs Koscheck - GSP

I'd go with your picks except I think that Machida has it. I enjoy listening to Rampage, seems to actually be a good person and I am a fan. However, with that being said, he hasn't looked so hot since coming back.

Marquardt has been on a roll, so I agree there.
GSP over Koscheck, definitely.
Rampage v. Machida depends on which Rampage we see. Unfortunately, that fight will probably be Rampage chasing Machida around the ring for 15 minutes.
As for Lesnar v. Velasquez, I will be routing for Cain, however, I think Brock is too big and strong. He is going to take Cain down, hold him down, and either beat on him or work for that arm triangle he used on Carwin. During the UFC Primetime, they show him working on that a lot in training. I do think that the first round should be exciting.
