When starting a Watchdog thread either copy and paste the ad in questions or post a screen shot of the ad. Do not just post a link to the ad. Links die extremely fast so they are borderline worthless in a day or two.

Also in the initial post be sure to include the reason for it to be posted in the Watchdog section. Do not just leave it up to the readers to figure out. If you believe the ad to be a scam, then include that information in your initial post.
