I've seen plenty of kinking, but never saw one "fused" like that.

yeah- hes really major kinked. i mean we all know that kniked snakes cann live (even pretty hard kinked- remember rdrs caramel vid, or the super pastel caramels where end came back to the head), but i think u made the only right choice with this one.

i basically see it this way:

its not a breeding issue. i bet these things happen in the wild too. i mean- look at us humans- how many handicapt babies were born every year?

i dont think that these issues are menmade...

On the topic of defects, I'm really getting annoyed lately by the growing trend of people selling kinked ball pythons on kingsnake.

Aww :( That's sad, poor lil thing.

That's sad and it sucks that you had to watch it die. I dread the day that this will eventually happen to me, but I know that it's nothing that I'll be able to control. :(

At the show last weekend their were people selling "B" grade balls with kinks. And I'm not sure where I stand on the issue. One hand I don't like it because they will (most likey) end up being bred. On the other hand I feel like if the animal can live a decent life it should be able to.
