as long as you like her Bro, you got a good deal! I have traded higher end snakes for a snake in lower value because I wanted it. Its a win - win situation!
As a side note, what does you username mean????
Rapture 12-14-2008, 07:07 PM Not a red tail and not a rainbow... a common boa IMO.
Varanus99 12-14-2008, 07:15 PM Not a rainbow thats for sure.
I dont think its a common Columbian either, but I could be wrong.
Id guess its one of these weird locality boas. Back in the day we used to call those dark boas that stayed kinda small Argentine Boas. Im sure thats not what they are called now.
We need a boa guru in this thread!
I know you guys are out there! Help!

I dont think its an argentine either.... they are more black than muddy brown.....

Probably not. Im just throwing guesses.
JOHNS6068 12-14-2008, 07:25 PM Common boa?? Maybe some sorta argentine cross maybe??? Not a Rainbow or a pure argentine that's for sure.
jknudson 12-14-2008, 08:46 PM I was too thinking BCI Argentine cross...
FloridaHogs 12-14-2008, 09:41 PM Not a rainbow, but don't have a clue what it is.

Well, I played EverQuest 2. I was a gnome conjy. Micro = Short and DDot = Double damage over time
And now i use the name almost everywhere and dont play anymore.

Thanks for the explanation....
ChristianC 12-14-2008, 10:29 PM Looks CA to me. It has the cross on the head and all. Very nice looking boa.. well worth a couple pythons :D
JChandler 12-14-2008, 10:33 PM Could be a dirty nic but I would go with CA also....
Travis Kubes 12-14-2008, 11:21 PM I too would say CA boa.
Is his belly that color normally or is he goin' through a shed? Rainbow boa was a flat lie, but if you like him it was worth a couple normal balls.
Rapture 12-15-2008, 01:01 AM Looks like it's going through a shed - I bet it's not that dark when it comes out.
bassett524 12-15-2008, 12:46 PM I'm going to second that argentine cross idea. thought they usually don't turn out that brownish muddy color. but definitely not pure argentine, a nice looking argentine should be jet black with white speckles. but the multitude of spots the way they are on the belly make me think there is argentine.
Microddot 12-15-2008, 05:45 PM its going through a shed. i will take some more pics when shes done.
SublimeBoa 12-15-2008, 06:44 PM Looks like an average Nicaraguan Boa to me. Definitely CA though. The long slender build gives it away.
luciddream 12-17-2008, 03:01 PM Looks CA to me too. May be a Nicaraguan, but it is definitely a CA of some sort. It's not an argentine cross, from what I see.
looks like a nicaraguan/central american dwarf boa - CA for sure!
147BOAS 12-30-2008, 01:12 AM i am going to say its not a rainbow but ca boa yes
AaronP 12-30-2008, 03:01 PM It isn't a Rainbow, but it doesn't look like a pure of anything. It kinda looks like a Tarahumara but it's too big to be that. Maybe it's a cross?
SublimeBoa 12-30-2008, 06:29 PM Looks like a grown up, darker version of this to me...

That's a farmed, imported Nicaraguan neonate above, they tend to darken with maturity, and end up looking just about like yours does there. But there are some examples that are way above the average.
I still say Nic.
AaronP 12-30-2008, 07:01 PM Get us some pictures after it's out of shed, cause it definitely is in shed right now.
tokaysunlimited 12-30-2008, 07:08 PM Its definatly a Boa!!!!:wamma:
No doubt is a Nicaraguan, doesn't look crossed with anything.Looks to be well into its 4th year as far has age.
FWIW,
I wouldnt be trusting that new arrival so soon,Central forms are well known for unprovoked nips to human flesh.
