View Full Version : Down on the bayou/pool party

This past year we were given permission to fish on a 2 mile stretch of bayou . There was a pool next to our fishing place that was always full of these . There would be groups of them all different sizes ....some sitting at the foot of a little spillway catching and eating the fish that tumbled down . If you enlarge the pix and scan around I think there are some babies in there. We didnt always have the camera in the vehicle we were in at the time but on this day we had it with us .

Looking forward to the spring when we can explore further . There are some really nice crappie , bass , bream and catfish along with some unusual birds we have spotted . Maybe next year we will buy a better camera instead of a new snake .....

LOL, reptiles are oppertunists. When they find a honey hole the'll hang around till it goes bad. I love the pics :yes:

No reason to leave as long as they are safe and have a steady supply of food.
