Envied Reptiles 12-17-2008, 12:03 AM I may go. Thought about vending, but doubt I will as I have no idea what the turn out will be and Id hate to pack everything up only to see a handful of people come through the doors.
luciddream 12-17-2008, 11:56 AM So, it's supposed to be bigger than the All Ohio and All Cleveland shows? Anyone know how many people are supposed to be vending there?
FloridaHogs 12-17-2008, 12:02 PM Do they have a website?

heres a link to there flyer i dont know anything about these guys but it sounds like they are trying to put on a good show or they are full of s*&t one of the two guess we will find out on the 27
neilgolli 12-18-2008, 09:01 AM I would like to vend the show however why anyone would put on a show 2 days after christmas is beyond me. I'm busy with family stuff, Justin is out of town and while attendance may be their, I'm afraid locals (buyers) won't be around and tourists will be, just sight seeing. A show around the end of January, once tax refund checks start coming would be much better for both vendors AND customers....
KordeksKritters 12-18-2008, 11:44 AM I have talked very briefly with Jeff about the show in email, but don't really have any information yet. I called Kevin this morning to find out more. My curiosity is more on the show promoter level, but am planning to find out what they are doing as far as vendors as such. In the emails, Jeff seemed like a nice guy trying to do a good show though. If I find out more, I'll let you guys know.
papaK 12-18-2008, 12:47 PM That's pretty sweet.... this show will be about 10 minutes from my parents house and I'll just happen to be home for christmas break. Kinda sucks there's no information on vendors or anything though.
KordeksKritters 12-18-2008, 02:36 PM Well, I talked to Kevin just now (talked for over an hour), and I have to say he is one of the nicest people I have ever talked to. Definitely someone doing shows for the RIGHT reasons with the RIGHT attitude. I really look forward to working with him and Jeff over time to help each other out.
He told me he has somewhere around 20 vendors right now, and more adding on every day as the show gets closer. It sounds like a good start to a good show, and I would go if I didn't have Christmas dinner for 20 some people at my house that day (that would be quite a drive for me, but worth it!).
So my suggestion to vendors or customers is to GO, it has the potential for something really awesome! And call Kevin anytime, he is a sweetheart to talk to, and just someone you want to get to know in this industry (he breeds some cool species of snakes too, and is awesome to just talk herps with).
Hope that helps some people make the decision!
papaK 12-18-2008, 07:14 PM Did he happen to mention any of the vendors?
KordeksKritters 12-18-2008, 08:32 PM No but he did say that most of them are the same guys that go to the other Ohio shows if that helps any...maybe if you call him and ask he can give you a list. I did tell him I recommend that from now on he puts the vendor list on the website though, because everyone seems to be wondering who is going..
chrisr9240 12-26-2008, 09:52 PM we will be walking around the show tomorrow sportin the reptile radio shirt if any one sees me say hi would like to get to know some more people
KordeksKritters 12-26-2008, 09:57 PM Chris, if you get a chance to meet Kevin or Jeff, the show promoters, tell them Kelly Kordek said hi! Let me know how the show turns out, I am really curious, as it seems like they have a good thing starting. Just remember, it is a new show, so go in with that expectation, and know that it has potential to grow into something good from what I heard from Kevin!
