I knew I liked you, Sara! It will be interesting to see the guys who work with these determine the markings. Maybe a new(or rare) morph has been stumbled upon?
Maybe Wayne, infernalis, will pop in. It looks right up his alley.

It actually looks like what I would envision a T+ albino garter snake. It would be interesting to try and prove it genetic. Nice find.

Not a garter person by any means, but it doesn't look quite "normal"..

I just know it doesn't look like any of the garters I see around here. It would be pretty cool if it was some new morph but im not getting my hopes up. can someone forward a link to one of the garter guys
The green head and red and black tongue says 'garter' to me. I'll see if I can get Wayne in here

I def think garter too...wondering if someone released a captive corn at some point though to contribute to the gene pool.... He appears Eastern garter but much lighter in colour...

It's a variation of the common "Eastern" Garter snake Thamnophis Sirtalis Sirtalis.
I had one named "Rusty" for the rust red spots.
Any albinism would have wiped out the melanin in the tongue tip, the tongue is still clearly black on the tip.
Nice find and nice picture, It would make a fine display, but not much for any breeding projects ;)
One of the nice things about Easterns, they are so variable in coloration and pattern.

Thank Quig too, he pointed me this way.
:D I knew it was an eastern Wayne, but wasn't sure if it was a morph of some sort. That's why I called on you.
