I picked up a new camera this weekend and I took a few shots of my male chondro Scarface. I still have to get use to this new camera but overall I think these shots came out descent.

Another month or so and I will start pairing him up with my female Biak. Hopefully they can deliver another clutch this this spring and I can have better luck incubating their eggs!

Hey I have a croc monitor named Scarface. Maybe they are related? Distantly? :D

Nice close ups. Good luck with those eggs. From what I understand they can be a real challenge.

They are biologically distant relatives....LOL. I gave him that name because of the scar inbetween his eyes and his firey attitude.

Thanks, I am going to take a little different approach with the eggs this year. I may go with a maternal set up.

Best of luck with the breeding and incubation. Those shots are great.
Thanks for the complement, I appreciate it.

I don't know exactlly what he was crossed with but the blue coming through along his back makes me think there could be Sorong or Wamena in there. Basically I label him an outcross because he has some characteristics that are not common with pure Biak types.
