Well, last night Matt decided that he wanted babies again, and since I can't have anymore (LOL), he said it was time for Zeke and Rames to do their thing again. So he tossed Rames into Zeke's cage, and within 45 seconds LITERALLY he had her locked up! He is usually a stud, but it can take him a day or 2 to get things "right" in that area of life. Apparently last night was a good night for him LOL. So I plan to leave him in with Zeke until later today to give him a few more chances (he is VERY interested today, but I have not seen the lock-up yet since I have been out of the room most of the morning).
So woohoo, babies should be coming sometime in the next 90 days! Luckily we have an outlet for as many as we need to get rid of with a petshop here, so no biggie there. But god how I love to have little baby dragons running around!

If Zeke produces anything like she did for me earlier in the year, I should be floating about 40 babies between 2 clutches, if not more since it will be her second breeding. And they throw some BEAUTIFUL orange pastel babies too! We kept back a few, but decided to let them go after a bit simply because of space issues.
I gotta find the cord to the camera to post up the beardie **** pics I took when I saw it happening LOL. They are not as good as the other ones on here (can't remember who posted them), but they show a good lock up.

Yeah, I want baby dragons now. I did witness 2 more lockups yesterday, so we went ahead and took Rames out. He was shocked - I usually leave the pairs together for a week. Guess he was too quick on the draw for that LOL.

Zeke is driving me batty. It's been 27 days now, and she looks like she's ready to POP, but no digging, no signs of eggs. You can't even feel them yet. Last time she was right on at 20 days, so this "going over her due date" thing is messing with me...
And right now Rames is playing studboy with Sophie, so maybe something will come from that pairing as well. I figure Storm and Thunder want to play dead right now, so Rames gets himself another girl...
Where are my babies dammit!? Someone go talk to Zeke, she just won't listen to me and lay those eggs!

Well, finally after all this time, I just finished digging 26 eggs out of the laybox from Zeke. She laid 2 in her cage yesterday that were no good by the time I found them. So, it looks like babies are coming again!!
