Anyone here use craft paper as a substrate? I can get huge rolls of it for almost nothing. Just wanted to see if it's any good.

Go for it, you are already using newspaper right? Kraft paper is more visually appealing and holds up better then newspaper in my opinion.

We use craft paper. We love it. It's cheap and easy to use, especially if you get a dispenser.

And your animals won't get that dirty look from the black ink rubbing off.

Works great for all but the biggest snakes. For them, you'll need to double or triple layer the cage because when they crap, the liquid urates are too much for one layer and the entire cage is wet...lol.
