So I'm in the process of attempting to get certified with FedEx, and it's REALLY turning into a head ache. I called 1-800-GO-FEDEX, stumbled my way through their menus until I got to a live person, and asked for the contact info for my account rep. She gives me a name and number, so I call the guy. Tell him what the deal is and he starts laughing and says he's never even heard of being certified to ship reptiles, but he'll look into it for me and call me back. A week goes by without hearing from him, so I call and get his voicemail. Leave him a message and the next day I get a call from some lady with FedEx who informs me that my rep only deals with people who spend $45k+ a year! Oh, and SHE only deals with people who spend $10k+ a year. But to help me out she'll call the FedEx marketing department and have someone call me to sort it out. Still waiting for that particular call...
So anyone have any pointers on how to get the ball rolling on this? At this point I'm not entirely happy with the customer service I've dealt with at :machinegun:FedEx.

Wow that sucks. I am FedEx certified and have been for a couple years. My experience was very easy. I called and they sent me a self addressed packet. I filled it out, sent it back, with my package then waited about a month for the approval. They really test those packages. They even sent me pics of the tests . I would stay on them. It shouldn't be this hard. Good luck

The number I called was 800-633-7019
told them that I needed to set up an account and I needed a rep to call me right away because I need to be certified to ship live reptiles, then told them during the season I could ship out 30+ overnight boxes a month....lol...had 3 different people calling me back within 24 hours and had a rep within 48 hours. In total had my test package being mailed out within a week of my first call....
If that number doesn't work PM me and I will give you my rep's name and number...might be the same one since your not that far from me....

Call and speak to a rep, if he can't help you then ask to speak to his boss / manager. If he can't help, continuing going up the chain until someone can.
Forget it I sent you a PM

I opened my account online. About a week later, FedEx called me.
