I am renovating my herp room. Thought I would post some pics of the progress. Here is what it looked like before. I have too many snakes to have in display cages so I have switched everything over to racks.

Ok, now the dirty work. The overall plan is to install a new floor, paint, new lighting, utility sink and a countertop that will have my incubator, fridge and storage under it. The room is about 200 square feet.
This shows the carpet ripped up.

We moved everything out but the freezer.

The tile is starting to go down and the paint is going up.

And this is where I had to call it a night.

I will post more later. Should have it done by this weekend.

It's about 200 Sq. Feet. I am going to have to go the ceilings in this room. We considered purchasing a new house but with the market the way it is I probably can't sell mine. So we are stuck here.
BT, how many snakes can a guy squeeze into 200 square feet?

My guess is that you can squeeze many, many snakes in that much space!! :D Your room is looking great!! I envy you that much space!

Wow man I really like how those display cages look but I understand the space issues for sure.
After looking for a second time, man I'm impressed brother..:)
Very nice. Good luck with the new setup and keep us posted.

That is a cool space you have there. Those cages do look set up very nicely.

Those cages look awesome! What did you use for the backgrounds for your display cages? It really gives a natural feel. Great job

I love the track lighting, tile floor and the display cages... of course racks are more efficient space wise there's nothing like a naturalistic display for any animal! :letsparty:
Thanks for the pics and keep updating this thread as you make progress!
