They sure can. I wouldn't feed them to them exclusively, as their pretty high in fat and such, but as a treat, they're fine.

Im not a huge wax worm fan but as Lucid said they can be fed sparingly.

I've also heard that they can be addicting. Once they get a taste they don't wanna give em up.

Use them as a treat or to help get females to gain a little fat, but don't make them staple food item. I usually don't even like using them. A pinkie mouse makes a better substitute for the tasks typed above.

Same with Pheonix worms.

I have a female that I cant give anything different than mealies to or she will stop feeding. I made the mistake of giving her a few waxies last year after she laid eggs and it took me 2 months to get her to take mealies again. I thought this had something to do with her laying but about a month ago I picked up some crickets as a treat for them and I just got her back to eating mealies again..... pain in the butt!!!!

They're pretty nasty and smell terrible. I'd rather use live crix any day. They may eat them, but I have no idea what is in that "juice" they come in, and wouldn't want to feed em to my little kids.

Most geckos won't touch anything that isn't moving.

Stay away from that crap Bro.... mealies, superworms, roaches, or crickets... all live! This is the best bet to have healthy animals....
