Contrary to popular belief I do work with some Getula subspecies....
Mainly Holbrooki and Splendida morphs, but I have worked with californiae and Floridana in the past......

Here's some pics:

You have some sweet holbrookis there. I am hoping to get some outstanding Speckleds soon. What locales do you work with? I see you have some with large round spots and with no dorsal crossbands. they make me weak in the knees.

I live in a huge intergrade zone here in South Texas on the Coast.......between Splendida and Holbrooki.......We've actually have a line determining where mainly Holbrooki phenotypes are found and where mainly Splendida phenotypes are found around here......

I used to work with South Texas locality Holbrooki and Splendida......Nueces, Refugio, Aransas & Calhoun counties, but now it's more about the morphs.
I have no locales anymore, just White Walls, Lavenders, Amels, Yellow Amels and many hets and multi hets......

BTW....The ones with the large round saddles and crossbars are Splendida, but I think you know that already.......

The best looking ones in my opinion are the ones from the White Wall line. The White Wall hets are TOTALLY speckled with no crossbars at all.......

Thank you Sara......
This year will be my last year for breeding them for a while.
I am going to let a buddy of mine take over my getula while I concentrate on the Mexicana and Montane projects I have going on......

I will raise up 1.1 100% Double Het for Lavender and WhiteWall Holbrooki though and try and produce a lavender whitewall in 2012 (next year)........

Hey John pic # 22 is that a banana cali? I've never seen a king that yellow. Normally they wouldn't do anything for me but that one is just astounding, a real screaming yellow zonker. LOL.

Digging your MBKs too. All in all exceptional animals.

I'm a big fan of Splendida! And you have some cool ones!! I really like your Albinos!

Is a Hybino Splendida possible?

Nope...That getula is an amel holbrooki....
I hatched out white with yellow speckles then the white turned yellow, except for on the head. Now it is yellow with an underlying yellow speckled pattern.....
Pretty unique snake.....
Many albino tricolors due the same.....They hatch out with white bands that turn yellow over time........

Thanks for the compliments again BigT.

It is possible but it would look no different than an amel in my opinion.....It seems the Amelanism will wipe out the hypomelanism.......

Now there are ghosts (Axanthic & Hypo) and Snows (Axanthic & Amel).......
I should produce both next year........

Thanks for the kind words Justin.....
