So I'm a python guy all around. But I got some of these california Kingsnakes in a trade, and I don't really know what they are, the genetics behind them, or how much they're worth. :dunno:

Adult Male Stripe:

If you guys could help me out on genetics and pricing that would be awsome!

This one is probably your most expensive.....It is a desert striped amel.
I like this one alot actually........LOL
Pricing depends on the market but I would sell it for $125.....

The other three are pretty common and would go for around $50 or so depending on the market....The first one pictured would probably get more than $50 though.....

As far a genetics they are mostly the results of years of breeding the Newport Beach strain of Calkings........Most Bananas, High Whites, Reverse Stripes and the such came from this strain......They are all line bred traits with the recessive amel mixed in with the one as well as a desert (white) strain to remove the yellow coastal coloration.......

Their clutches will be unpredictable and that is what makes them so fun.......

I have to agree with John. That's pretty much what I'd price them at too. Might go a bit higher on that adult female High White though. She's a little older and looks ready to breed. I'd price her probably around $75-$80ish. If by chance, she's already a proven breeder, I might go $100.

Good input....If she is adult she is 'worth' more, especially if proven........

That high white looks more like a banana king. As far as worth, snakes are only worth what some else is willing to pay for them. Not trying to be a smart A, it's just right now it seems the supply is high and demand is low. Good looking snakes though.

Thus the statements...."Depending on the market......"

Thanks a lot for the input guys! They're deffinetly a hot grouping of snakes in my opinion.

For reference the female is sitting right at 500 grams. She's not proven though.
