Well, I don't post on this forum much but this is a special occasion. I bred a Male that I 'thought" was just a hypo with a zigzag partial stripe going down his back X Hypo. The female ovulated 10/10/10 (go figure) and today was day 107. When I saw these baby's at first I was shocked. Look at the photos to see what I mean.

Here are the "normal" looking hypos

Here are the hypos/ maybe supers. they have more striping then the ones in the first photo.

And here is the most incredible ones in the litter. Their stripes and colors are incredible. Im almost positive that these are all super hypos somethings.

So I ended up with 21 hypo/super hypo somethings, 1 still born and 4 slugs.

I will post better pictures later today with my carmera I used my phone for those cruddy ones. I'll also post pictures of the father.

My question for all of you is; do you think that this super striping is something new and unique? Or is it just a freak occurance?

Thanks Everyone for looking!

Thanks
~~Frank

I'd call the person you got the male from and ask what the breeding was. Looks like there's Jungle in there to me....

I wish it was that easy! I got the male in Daytona of 08' and for the life of me I cannot remember the person I got him from. He was a small breeder with not many snakes. I remember seeing my males litter mates and none of them looked like my male. I have asked the people on redtailboas.com (http://www.redtailboas.com/f18/second-litter-year-already-51965/ ) and the people their are suggesting either jungle or some type of genetic aberrant.

The problem I see with him being a jungle is that if he was a jungle only half of the litter should have been jungles, but as you can see in the pictures every single baby has a whacked out pattern.

I believe that I stumbled upon a new line of genetic aberrant like the Nova Boas, or the Cyclone boas. This is just what I believe as of right now from the advice I have gotten so far.

Thank you everyone for the compliments! I was very shocked when I saw these babies in the cage and it made my day. :o

No new pictures as of yet, sorry. I will get updated pictures when they shed out. They seem to be dulling out so it looks like they should shed in about a week.

I love these guys so much! I check on them at least 4-5 times a day because I just can't resist. I think I have figured out my favoirtes and it looks like i'll be holding back 5-7 of them:wamma:

Thanks again everyone for the kind words

I'm not really into genetic, and by no means an expert in Boas, but to me it looks like you have some Hypo/Super Hypo Jungles.
Maybe it's a new line of Jungles that has Complete Domanance...
Very Nice looking litter at that!!

Nice litter. Some sweet looking critters there.

First picture, far right and in the center of the clump...

Third picture, bottom center...

I don't think I'd part with either one of those was it my litter.
