Same thing I thought. New blood would be nice in caramels to try to start a line without kinking problems.... but using a kinked WC as a founder when the trait already exists is crazy.....:nono:

tbh i dont think we will ever breed it out. im sure we could create lines that tend less to kinking, but i dont think there will be a kink free line. i think otherwise in over 18 years (i think the first one was 1992- correct me if im wrong tho) we would have done it. people always have bought new caramels from africa that come from no known line but we still havent one.



what really makes me wonder- if ure the dealer- why do u buy a kinked snake which has open wounds and probably parasites? do u really expect it to be sold- especially if it just arrive here and still shows open wounds...???

maybe he got it for 100 bucks or for free because he imported 10000 normals or so- otherwise it wouldnt make any sense to me...


but enough- its not my beer. i just hope they go out of business fast..

well thats what i was tinking all day 1.- sick animal = Fail 2.- Mislabel a animal= Fail 3.-kink = Fail Fail. i been 5 years breeding balls yes im a newby but i know i will never sell a kink animal of sick one in my life. new lines will be cool u never know if you come out kink free animals and about making names from morphs that's all ready have names just ridiculous a new person get this animal like ultra mennn that piss me off

I was looking for someone to bring this up. I love where he says looks like an Ultra, breed to found out. :D He must have read the Ultra kink thread started a while back HaHa. The reason the rpice is so high is to cover the expense they had to pay the CDC for all the little "hitchhickers" that come with this guy :D

W.C Adult male Paradox Caramel albino.
This guy is stunning, he just came in from Africa and is hands down the best caramel I have seen. He looks a lot like a ultra-mel and could in fact be one. He will have to be bred to find out.

He has some very interesting black paradox markings on him that make him even more unusual looking.

A truly stunning animal!!

He weighs 992 grams, and is ready to breed now.

As you can see in the pics he does have a kink in his lower back. This does not seem to affect him at all, and will not affect his breeding either.

This is a great chance to get a amazing animal that is very unique at a great price!

Open sores on imports with big price tags seems to be the norm with these guys. Worth her weight in gold. Yeah, you'll need a lot of gold to pay the amount of vet bills this one will cause. :rolleyes: I wonder when Josh is going to hook up with Capone.

I will never understand it...saw Outback at a show last weekend and it is unbelievable how many people flock to their tables like they are the saviors of herpetoculture...actually its that way at every show they attend...on Saturday they were slinging WC gravids for $100...

yes- they have an eye on them and look if everything is ok- but quarantine- nope...

at least not what we reptile breeders would consider a quarantine...

a kinked animal yeah make it a pet....but to breed it? that's to show you exactly where their position is at.

i believe a real breeder...a true breeder will always try to improve their bloodline whether it's by new blood or by line breeding to exaggerate a specific trait. but to breed an animal that has a defect.....makes me question ones ethics....
