So I've seen plenty of "show me" threads. Which this can very well be one just cuz I LOVE seeing how everyone has their rooms/buildings set up. So heres the "twist".. What are some of the off the wall DIY creations you all have made? Holding bins, racks from weird objects, rooms that no one would have ever imagined making a room. I'm looking for not only fun and interesting ideas for myself but also to enjoy everyone else's work.
....this is nothing too weird, but I'm pressed for space so I took the closet doors off and built a rack that would fit inside.

I can't believe I can't find any pics of it, but I made probably the most ghetto incubator last year.
I started with one of those metal wire shelving units. Then I took sheets of insulation from Lowes and cut and taped them together to completely surround the shelving. On the front I only taped one side to act as a hinge giving me a door that was held closed with L brackets and nails.
In short it ended up being a box made of insulation and packing tape that a wire sheling unit fit inside. It was the most ghetto looking thing, but worked just fine.
